On the line of fire, our defenders are defending Ukraine and they really need the help of each of us!

It is necessary to provide our military with camouflage backpacks!

Therefore, we are opening a collection for the purchase of tactical military backpacks Shadow 30L from the Polish brand DOMINATOR.
These camouflage backpacks are made of durable 600D polyester, resistant to abrasion and tears. Inside there is a waterproof PVC lining to increase protection from rain.
In total it is necessary to collect 29 thousand hryvnias!

And thanks to this amount we will be able to provide backpacks to 20 of our military !!

UPD2: November 24, Sergei and his mother flew to Minsk, thanks to UIA for free tickets provided under the “Under the Wing” program. All our prayers for him!

UPD: The Ministry of Health of Ukraine provided an information letter on the payment of Sergei’s surgery at state expense.

The fee continues only for accommodation and associated expenses in Belarus.

Together with United States charity organization the training Klaymber SEG SM3276 and treadmills Vigor XP L500 were purchased and transferred to the Center for Social Rehabilitation “Prolisok”.

Generally the project includes:

repair facilities (new windows and heating system);
computer class, with interactive whiteboards to expand opportunities for distance studying;
language laboratory equipment for teaching people with movement disabilities;
increase of the quantity of places in the Center for Professional Education for children without parental care and people with disabilities from 112 to 150 seats;
equipment room and stairs with special ramps and handrails for young people with musculoskeletal system diseases;
laptops and mobile phones to provide educational services for people with disabilities who can not be present in the classroom;
create a local Internet and develop software.

Charity fund “Modern Village and City” held a series of events that honored to the World AIDS Day

Charity fund “Modern Village and City” with the support of ICF” Public Health Alliance» held a charity concert in the town. Uman to draw attention to the spread of humans’ HIV transmission.

On December the 1 among the medical establishments of Khrystynivka, Monastyrysche and Uman, Cherkasy region also were distributed informational materials (Uman Central Hospital Maternity of Uman, Khrystynivka Central Hospital, Monastyrischensky Central Hospital, Uman City Hospital). The above health facilities handouts are distributed among visitors and patients.

On December the 5, 2015 in Uman Central Park it was a concert of the youth group “Atmosphera” and singer Alexander Bidenko. During the event, volunteers handed out informational materials present and condoms. At the concert, the audience was overwhelming youth, which was a key point, referring to the theme of the event.

During the concert, volunteers handed out materials with information on the main routes of HIV transmission, prevention of infection, medical and social problems.

Such events are drawing attention on the spread of HIV infection. Due to the fact that the entire population still in a group of risk, everyone should know about the ways of HIV transmission.

The main purpose of the World AIDS Day is to draw public attention to this problem. In Ukraine, in Eastern Europe and Central Asia prevalence of HIV / AIDS is really high (for adults is 1.1%). Every day in Ukraine is registered ove 48.5 cases of HIV infection.
