Maxim is already such an adult, he, as his mother says, is an example for others, and she infinitely thanks God for having him. For 16 years, mom and son themselves are against a terrible disease – an illness that prevents a guy from walking, sitting straight, holding a spoon in his hands and doing things on their own that seem elementary to others. Who knows where and what Maxim would have been if the mother hadn’t saved her child so stubbornly.

A woman brings up a guy on her own, she makes efforts to find rehabilitation methods that improve Max’s condition. Each rehabilitation course gives its own improvement. The last time Maxim was undergoing rehabilitation in the health complex “Vernigora” in the village. Modrychi. At first it seemed – nothing special, but after the whole course Maxim really got the result: his limb tone decreased, his balance improved while sitting, occupational therapists taught him independence in self-service. These are great results that may go away if not continued with treatment. And this is a new chance for a guy to be independent, to learn how to do things as simple and difficult for him as holding a cup or putting on a shirt.

And again, we ask you to help mom and Maxim get on a new rehabilitation course and make sure once again that they are not themselves in this world facing illness and an unknown future, that they have support and faith that everything will be fine!

“I’m Lisa. I am 8 soon and I continue to write my story. To write, because I can’t tell all this yet. So far, I have some sounds, small words, but not sentences, not stories, not songs. After the last course, which my mother asked you to help, I had the best result. More letters, new words, I started jumping on my feet and even running a little. My mother and I continue to learn numbers, letters, because I have a dream – I want to go to school. I know other children don’t dream about it, some don’t want to, and my mother and I dream that I can go to school and study like others, and answer questions, and teach poetry, and retell long texts, all by myself!”.

After rehabilitation in Kiev, Lisa really became much more active, faster and more collected. Her diagnosis is early CNS damage, sagging legs, arms, tongue. That’s why Lisa still doesn’t know what her peers have learned for a long time – to talk, run, jump. And for the next course in March, plans for as many as 40 days of classes, corrections, exercises and treatment with rehabilitation specialists, speech therapists, specialists, so that even more new words appeared, the tongue became even more obedient, and strength appeared in the legs.

Lysa’s father is a priest, and her mother does not work, because she spends all her time with the girl and her brother, so the amount of UAH 36,000 is not affordable for the family. We ask for help to gather for the next rehabilitation course and help Lisa to speak.

Vladislavchik’s mom- Anya Chibuk asks everyone who is not indifferent to save her son. Anya – an orphan, lost her parents early, and now she  has remained with the sick sick son.

Vladislavchik was born a healthy child and up to 5 months Anya just enjoyed motherhood. Diagnosis: Neuroblastoma ekstraintravebral (simple cancer tongue) at the level of Th8-L5, sounded like a bolt from the blue.

September 17, 2015 –  Vladislavchik was operated for the first time and partially removed the tumor. Following the operation, the baby survived six blocks of chemotherapy, after which there was a remission. The deterioration of the condition of the baby made Anya again seek funds for diagnostics, which they do not conduct in Ukraine.

On the third block of chemotherapy, a relapse occurred, the child was in extremely serious condition. Ukrainian doctors spread their hands and said that there is no treatment in Ukraine.

Vladik spent all of 2017 in Ukraine, where every 3 months they underwent a survey. The last MRI showed that the tumor began to grow. A survey in Turkey, thanks to the means of volunteers from Italy, showed that Vlad needs to urgently perform an operation so that the tumor does not pinch the nerve limbs and does not lead to irreversible serious consequences.

David is 3 years old, and he has been struggling with a non-infantile disease all the last year. The child’s body does not produce platelets. He undergoes supportive treatment and constantly has a blood transfusion. Doctors gave a chance to recover from a bone marrow transplant . Turkish MedicalPark Bancelievler Hospital, Istanbul will accept David for the treatment. They set an account at $ 120,000. It is not necessary to write that the amount is unrealistic for Olga – the mother of David, who educates the child alone, and now does not work.

Mother’s words :

“My name is Olga. Son is David. Now he is 3 years. After the last puncture and trepanobiopsis was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome (D46) MDC, the bone marrow does not produce platelets. Was born 25 September  2015 (m. Uman, Cherkasy region).

Diagnosis: Hemophilia A.

Necessary medicines: Novoseven- 42,000 UAH. In average, 50 bottles per month.

Help is needed constantly!

Maxim still quite small, He is about two years old and his parents already know what desperation means!

The boy was born on Sept. 25, 2014, in Uman with 8 months Maxim got the terrible diagnosis Hemophilia A there is a risk of death because of bleeding in the brain and other vital organs, even with minor injuries.

The child has been on prophylactic treatment in Switzerand since May 2014. Four months after beginning of  the treatment –inhibitor aggravated to FVIII (September 2014). Titer of 12.8 BU / ml., (April 2015) titer 7.9 BU / ml.

Starting with September 2014 to the present day the boy has no ability for the normal existence because of that fact that Ukraine does not provide necessary medicines (Novoseven) that would help the child live a normal life.

The Price for 1 bottle of Novoseven is 42,000 UAH. In average, 50 bottles per month.

Unfortunately, Maxim’s  family (which consist of father and mother) has no such financiall opportunity to buy the necessary medicines for the treatment of his son. The familie’s monthly income is 3,200 USD. Mother is on the  maternity leave and his father is a driver. The price of the one bottle is in ten times higher than the total familie’s  income (to stop even a small bleeding, such as a cut etc., which in a minute can become a huge hematoma Maxim needs 3 -10 bottles). Price per 1 bottle Novoseven- 42,000 UAH.  In average- 50 bottles per month .

In case of illness:

  1. A detailed letter about the situation:
  • Surname, name and patronymic of the patient, name of parents
  • Age (full address and contact numbers (home net., Mob), diagnosis,
  • Structure and financial situation of the family, parents’ place of work
  • Complete medical history, name and phone number of your doctor.
  • Вetail information about all expences (surgery, rehabilitation, and so on)
